Half Marathon (21.1 km)

The Half Marathon starts in Bairiki near the Kiribati National Olympic Committee, heading west toward Betio along the scenic ocean road connecting Tarawa’s coral islands. Runners experience the same stunning coastal views as the marathon course before looping around Betio and returning to Bairiki, where the race finishes in the lively centre of the island’s administrative district.
