How to get to Nauru
Due to its remote location, reaching Nauru requires careful planning — but that is part of the
adventure.
Most international participants will travel by plane via Tarawa (Kiribati), operated by Nauru Airlines.
Flights are limited and typically operate only a few times per week, so we strongly recommend aligning your travel with the official event schedule.
Participants of the Pacific Double (Kiribati + Nauru) will receive guidance on the best flight connections between the two islands.
Final travel recommendations will be shared once airline schedules for early 2027 are fully released.
Entry Requirements
Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet Nauru’s immigration and visa requirements.
For visa inquiries contact nauru.consulate@brisbane.gov.nr
Travelers normally require:
- A valid passport (typically 6 months validity)
- Return or onward ticket
We will provide general guidance and official links, but all travel arrangements are made independently.
